What is the best Time To Travel for gorilla tracking
Travelling with your partners is memorable and fun. In case you are sharing your gorilla tracking safari with anyone, you need to check the appropriate time when you are willing to all travel. Establish the free days when each will not be on pressure.
Gorilla tracking minimum days are 3 days with the first day as the travel to Bwindi day, Second day Gorilla Tracking and the Third day for road trip or domestic flight back to the international Airport.
Gorilla trekking is done throughout the year but Uganda experiences two seasons the wet and dry season. During the Wet seasons, the ground is normally wet and boggy that is to say March – May, October To November while during the dry season that is to say June-September and December-mid February the ground though may be wet it is not so soggy.
At the start of your gorilla tracking safari, you have to enquire about gorilla permit availability during your preferred time of travel. To avoid getting back and forth about the dates you have prepared for your safari, you need to book a gorilla permit.
Gorilla permits are booked per day per person and rescheduling them may call for an additional fee which is quite disturbing. So when you finally agree on the days of your Uganda gorilla safari, you need to book a gorilla permit.

Find accommodation Hotel or Lodge
Gorilla tracking experience requires you to have spent a night closer to the area where your gorilla permit was booked. You need to have book a lodge in Bwindi forest Park. Bwindi is divided into Buhoma gorilla tracking area, Rushaga gorilla trekking area, Ruhija gorilla tracking area and Nkuringo Gorilla tracking area.

Exercise for Fitness
As the ground for gorilla tracking is volcanic and requires you to hike to get to the gorillas, some fitness is required. It is not that the physically disadvantaged cannot take part is in this activity. The park has sedan chairs that you can hire in advance in case you advise us earlier. 3 Day Itinerary for Gorilla Tracking Safari
Day 1: Road Trip To Bwindi Forest
Early in the morning, your driver guide will pick you from your overnight accommodation and drive you to Bwindi forest National Park. The drive is very scenic as you may make a stopover at the equator to take photos, perform the water experiments and so much more. Carry on passed the rolling hills of Kigezi, ragged hills, and arrive in the late after noon

Day 2: Gorilla tracking
After breakfast, head to the ranger station for briefing. You will meet other trekkers too. You will be subdivided into groups of 8 persons and the ranger guide will escort you into the forest to begin searching the mountain gorillas.
As you are swallowed by the forest, you may begin seeing other primates like the olive baboons, grey checked mangabey, vervet monkeys, black and white colobus, red tailed monkeys, numerous lovely birds roam the forest and you can identify them.
Finally when you get to find the gorillas, take there pictures and watch the family do there activities. Try not to disrupt them because they are shy animals that can retrieve into the forest. After an hour return to the lodge to relax or in case you are not tired, there is an option of visiting the Batwa pygmies who have a unique life.
Day 3 Drive to Entebbe Air Port
After sharing your memorable gorilla tracking experience in Uganda, drive back home to catch up with your flight back home.
