Mountain Gorillas live in a mountainous area with ragged topography. To get to the gorillas you may need to hike up or slope to the bottom depending on circumstances.

How Many people are allowed to see the mountain gorillas
8 persons per gorilla family are allowed per trek. This is to protect the food that the gorillas feed on. The vegetation is the main source of food and ants for the mountain gorillas.
Only trekkers aged 15 and above qualify for gorilla trekking as per Uganda Wildlife Authority and Rwanda Development Board the regulating bodies.
