Day 1 Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National
Wake up early morning to start the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern part of Uganda. On the way, you pass several amazing features including the rolling hills of Kigezi sub-area, make stops at the Equator for an opportunity to take photos standing on both sides of the earth that is the northern and southern hemisphere.
The distance from Kampala or Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is about 530 Kilometers and drive time about 8 to 9 hours. The altitude of Bwindi area drops as you get closer to the park so in case you are affected by altitude changes inform your driver guide in advance.

Day 2 Gorilla Trekking in Uganda
Rise up for breakfast, carry your packed lunch and gorilla trekking gears to the ranger station. Present the necessary documents for verification. During briefing, the ranger guides will provide detailed rules about Gorilla Trekking and what is required from you.
When you are allocated a gorilla family to trek, the ranger guide with security person from the Uganda tourism police escort the entire group to start searching for the mountain gorillas. Since time of finding the mountain gorillas is not easy to determine, open your mind to seeing other forest dwellers such as other primates, birds, different tree species and others.
Finally, when you finally find the mountain gorillas, only an hour is allowed with them as a conservation measure to minimize effects of humans presence before these primates. Take photos a souvenirs to get back too later.
Day 3 Drive to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park in western part of Uganda. The Kibale forest is a natural rain forest and a biosphere reserve which is home to 13 primates species. The chimpanzees, black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, black and white colobus and others.
More than 325 bird species have been recorded as residents of Kibale National Park including some of those on the red list of IUCN. The park has its headquarters in Kanyanchu and a secondary center in Sebitoli.

Day 4 Chimpanzee Trekking in Uganda
Get up early morning for breakfast and head to the ranger station for briefing. Donot forget to pack the necessary gears and documents to present to the rangers before chimpanzee trekking. There is an alternative afternoon chimpanzee trekking option for those who donot want to rise up early.
The tails of Kibale forest usually have protruding undergrowth but the ranger guide with machete may trim it to clear the way. The forest has other inhabitants including black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, blue monkeys, pottos, L’hoest and others.
When you finally get to the chimpanzees, they may keep going on with what they were doing initially however donot be fooled by this pretense because they operate a spy network. Watch the chimpanzees as they go about there day today activities, take photos but ensure to maintain the rules of chimpanzees trekking.
Even though a distance of atleast 7 meters from the chimpanzees is recommended, out of curiosity, the chimpanzees may reach out to touch you. It may be quite scaring especially when the chimpanzees pull your hair but try to be calm and gentle so as not to appear suspicious.
An hour is allowed to view the chimpanzees during chimpanzee trekking in Uganda. The presence of humans disrupts the daily running of the life of chimpanzees so one hour is the time the chimpanzees are habituated to be before humans.

A visit to the Bigodi swamp area where community projects can be enjoy is valuable. While on a board walk in Bigodi, you may spot other primates, birds, the swampy environment and much more.
Community visit in Kibale Village where you may taste the locally made banana drinks, get a glimpse into the life of the local people who live close to Kibale forest, how they survive with the chimpanzees and much more.
Guided Hike on the highlands close Kibale forest. Get to enjoy the breath taking view of the crater lakes in this area and surrounding evergreen vegetation in the slopes. One of these Lake has a structure similar to the map of Africa.
Visit Mabere Ganyina Mwiru stalactites and stalagmites with its mythical story. The Mabere Ganyina Mwiru stalagmites and stalactites are some of the unique geographical features worth seeing. These features are situated in a bushy area and an amazing waterfall with sparkling water flows down the cave.

Day 5 Drive To Murchison Falls National Park

Day 6 Game Drive and launch Trip to Murchison Falls National Park
Get up early for a game drive in Murchison Falls National Park and while on a drive on the tracks with in park especially the Buligi track, you may get the opportunity to fins lions that love to prey on the Uganda kobs and others. Watch out for giraffes, Oribi, hartebeests, herds of elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs and much more.
Afternoon launch trip is relaxing but donot forget your camera to capture some memorable safari experiences. When you look over to the shoreline, you may spot a wide range of birds, animals quenching thirst and much more. Hippos and crocodiles are common residents in River Nile and you get to see them.
Finally as you get closer to River Nile, you feel the power of this majestic Rive as it furiously pushes through the narrow bend and cascade down the 43 meters high cliff. An optional hike to the top of the falls can also be arranged but it is not for the faint hearted. While on top of the falls, you get to view River Nile drama while it staggers over a bed of rock to accumulate power to use to push through the narrow bend.
