DAY 1 – Visit the Chimpanzees In Kibale national Park
Having taken your breakfast early in the morning our driver guide will take you to Kibale National park. This is a forest endowed with primates, monkeys, butterflies and rich bird life. DAY 2 – Chimpanzee Trekking
Having taken your breakfast, your guide will take you to the briefing point in case you have a morning chimpanzee trekking permit. You will be explained to how to behave while searching for the chimpanzees and when in there presence. Chimpanzees live in communities under the leadership of an alpha male chosen democratically by the community and not hereditary. Although chimpanzees are well known for being herbivorous, research has shown that due to circumstances, they may eat meat. Follow the trails to find them but you can also see other primates like the vervet monkeys, black and white colobus, grey cheecked mangabey to mention but a few along the way. For birders, this is a haven for you to freely identify the sounds and appearance of birds. You finally get to meet the chimpanzees who are the closest cousins to humans in the animal kingdom. Take photo graphs and observe them do there activities and then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 – Drive to Bwindi Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will head to Bwindi forest National Park for another encounter this time with the mountain gorillas. Mountain gorillas have a black furred coat that protects there bodies from the cold weather experienced throughout the year. This drive is about 5 to 6 hours but so scenic as you get a glimpse of the snowcapped Rwenzori ranges, incredible wildlife, adorable vegetation cover that varies as you proceed. DAY 4 – Gorilla tracking
As you rise up for breakfast, ensure you have packed your gorilla trekking gears like the cameras, a hat or cap, rain proof gear and others. Do not forget your packed lunch because the time taken while searching for the mountain gorillas is not definite. Head to the ranger station for a talk by the Uganda wildlife Authority ranger guide.
After telling you the procedure to take to succeed in your gorilla trekking safari, your ranger guide will lead you into the forest following the trails where they were last seen the previous day. Along the way you might see primates, whistling birds, butterflies and so much more. As explained by the ranger guide, ensure you behave as instructed so that you have a great time while with the mountain gorillas. They are generally shy animals so your presence should not scare them into hiding.
When you finally get to meet them, stay with them for an hour watching there behavior and so much more memorable activities displayed. Wait for the ranger guide to direct you on how to take photographs. As you return to your lodge, carry only memories of your life time experience with the only leftover mountain gorillas. DAY 5 – Return Home After Gorilla Tracking
Rise up early for breakfast and drive back to Entebbe Airport to catch up with your flight back home .In case you did not have a stopover at the equator enjoy it. You must have booked a night return flight if you are to fly back home after gorilla trekking.

A waterproofed backpack is vital for your camera because it may rain at any time without warning, water bottle to quench your thirst as you trek to see the mountain gorillas and snacks.
If not sure of your fitness, you may hire a porter for a small fee to carry your backpack and help you up the steeper slopes.
