Africa Safaris to Queen Elizabeth National Park is very interesting giving you chance to see diversity of wildlife in the wilderness. It is full possible to combine this with gorilla tracking and chimpanzee tracking in Uganda. This is also based on time available for you to enjoy your holiday.
Day 1 Road trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Get up early in the morning and your driver guide will pick you from your overnight hotel. You will drive through the lush vegetation of western Uganda. The rolling hills that you pass-by are amazing, the eye captivating valleys, rivers, lakes, enchanting baboons, black and white colobus and so much more.
Arrive late in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive as you drive through the park. You may get to see animals like buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, bush bucks, water bucks to mention but a few. Check-in to your lodge

Day 2 Game Drive And Launch Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Animals are more visible early morning as they disembark from there overnight hide outs. It is best to get up early and take something warm before starting your journey to the Mweya area. You may take the driver through the crater lakes area.
Here are numerous wet and dry craters located at the base of Rwenzori ranges that stand elevated. You may have the chance of seeing animals like the lions, Uganda Kobs, water bucks, bush bucks, herds of cape buffaloes, topis, herds of elephants to mention but a few.
After lunch, get ready for a boat ride on Kazinga channel. You may get to see rich congregation of birds that flock the shore to quench thirst. Numerous wild animals also make there way to the shores too. Enjoy the school of hippos, amazing Nile Crocodiles to mention but a few.
Return back to the lodge to relax
Day 3 Drive to Bwindi Forest National park
Get up early in the morning and drive to Bwindi forest the primate haven and birding ecstasy. The thick forest is well placed on slopes forming a dense but beautiful canopy. The roads are quite boggy due to regular rains and rough too.
Arrive in the afternoon to check out into your lodge

Rise up early for breakfast and head to the briefing point carrying your gorilla trekking gears. You will join other trekkers for this session. Listen carefully to the jungle instructions so that you are not got off guard.
You will later be divided into groups of 8 trekkers then start searching for the mountain gorillas. The way is quite interesting as you may the chance of seeing incredible birds, primates like the black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys to mention but a few.
At last when you draw closer to the gorillas you may hear them murmuring at each other as if to alert the family of your presence. Move closer to a distance of about 7 meters away then take photos as instructed by the ranger guide.
Return to the lodge after an hour of watching the mountain gorillas.
Day 5 Return Home
Having had the fun in Africa’s wilderness, drive back to Entebbe to catch up with your flight back home.
A flash less camera could do well for you while you trek to see the mountain gorillas.
A swimming costume in case you are booked in a luxury lodge in the jungle.
Long baggy trousers and long sleeved shirt
A rain coat or poncho during the gorilla tracking experience as it rains without warning
Safari hut will protect you from direct sun shine or dropping water from the wet leaves
Sun screen will protect your skin from the sun burns especially during the severe dry seasons in Queen Elizabeth National park
Insect repellant as the jungle insects normally move freely
Travel insurance
Torch as lights normally go out in the night
A light bag to carry you belongings during the gorilla trekking safari
Toiletries just to be safe

Tracking shoes
Carry some light clothes as at times it gets hot while on a game drive
Carry an extra buttery
Do not carry or with draw cash in public as you are not familiar with people close by.
Credit cards are not commonly used in Africa because of the long procedure of approving the finances
Try not to avoid going out alone because the streets are not well labeled
Do not buy food from the streets as it may not be safe for you to eat.
Drink bottled water as tap water is not safe for drinking
