Bisected by River Nile the longest River In Africa is Murchison Falls National Park. In the back drop of this park is erected Rwenzori ranges that are spectacular. Mountain Rwenzori is the second highest mountain in East Africa after Mountain Kilimanjaro. On a clear day, you can ably see the snowcapped top of the mountain. Mountain climbing can be arranged too.
The chimpanzees also have home in this pack and chimpanzee tracking can be arranged if one is interested. The chimpanzees live on the slopes of Kyambura gorge together with other primates like the black and while colobus, olive baboons, grey cheeked mangabey, red tailed monkeys to mention but a few.
Launch cruise on Kazinga channel is the highlight of a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the moment you get to see majority of the animals that the park inhabits. Several of them flock the shore to quench thirst and also enjoy a day bath as this park get hot during the dry seasons

Kibale Forest National park
Anyone interest in primates will find this park so interesting as it is home to biggest number of habituated chimpanzees in Africa.
Some of the primates include black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, bush babies, l’hoest, olive baboons the list is endless.
The park is haven for birding too as several species can ably be identified like blue headed sun bird, purple-breasted sunbirds, African pitta, yellow spotted nicator, little greenbul, blue-breasted kingfisher, brown chested alethe, Abyssinian ground thrush, crowned eagle, black bee eater to mention but a few.

Famous Bwindi forest is one of the still surviving prehistoric forests in the world. It is believed to have existed during the ice age period when the dinosaurs dominated this world. It is hosts the biggest number of mountain gorillas in the world.
Gorilla tracking is the main activity in this park but limited in number for conservation reasons. Each day only 8 trekkers are allowed to see the mountain gorillas per family.
