First Day Road Trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early rise to get on the road gives you chance to catch up with events along the way. Watch out for locals that you pass by as they make there way to the gardens. Lash vegetation cover decorates the roadside.

Kasenyi area is the busy drama point and a renowned hangout for Uganda Kobs which make an easy meal for lions.
Drive through the crater lake area with incredible views creating a beautiful scenery. Some of the crater lakes are wet while others are dry. The most outstanding are the ancient Katwe salt lake, Lake Nyamunuka the wild animal hospital with a putrid smell, Blue lake and other.

Third Day Chimpanzee trekking And Drive To Bwindi Forest
Spending part of your day search for human cousins in the forest is another way to reinvent yourself. They freely live in communities under the supervision of a democratically elected alpha male.
Chimpanzee trekking starts with briefing from the ranger guide who escorts you into the forest to search for the chimps. Look out for other primates like black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey to mention but a few.
When you locate them, spend an hour watching there drama and follow them in search for a day’s meal. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest later in the day to get ready for Gorilla trekking.
After breakfast, head to the ranger guide for briefing. Meet other trekker with whom you are to share a gorilla trekking family. The ranger guide takes you through the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking and later head for the forest.
Take the trail where the gorilla were last seen the previous day but this is not guarantee that you will locate them in the same place. Look out for more happy forest stewards the monkeys like olive baboons, black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, blue monkeys and more.
When you locate the mountain gorillas give them a distance of about 8 meters but it doesn’t mean they will not move forward to tease you. Pay attention to your ranger guide advice as he is more familiar with mountain gorilla behavior.
Take photos and keep watching the gorillas interact with family. Carry nothing and leave nothing in the forest except photos and memories of your gorilla trekking experience.

At an affordable cost, In case your flight is the next day in the Afternoon, take a guided walk to Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC). This is the former zoo but currently animal are not kept in cages but in exhibits. All wild animals in Uganda are represented in this center including the big five.
Visit Ngamba Chimpanzee rescue Island before departing. Here a number of orphaned chimpanzees that cannot be rejoined with there community, rescued from poachers, trophies chimpanzees and others are rehabilitated. Its amazing being part of the team that feed the chimpanzees from the platform and other activities.
