Gorilla tracking safari with game drive is a mixed safari in Uganda with chance of seeing wild game and mountain gorillas.

Day one: Drive To Bwindi Forest Park
Get up early morning and your driver guide will pick you from your overnight accommodation. Start your journey to the country side but make a stop at the equator at Kayabwe to take some photos standing on both sides of the earth at the same time.
Enjoy the view of the undulating hills of Kigezi as you immense yourself into the cool surrounding of Bwindi Forest.
Arrive late afternoon to check in to your lodge to relax.
Early morning, your driver guide will escort you to the ranger station for briefing. You will be advised on how to behave while with the mountain gorillas and on the way to see the mountain gorillas.
Don’t forget your mask and sanitizer as they are one of the most essential components of your gorilla tracking gears.
On your way, look around you may have the chance of seeing animals like black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, grey checked mangabey, blue monkeys, olive baboons and so much more.
As you approach the gorillas, you may hear them murmur and when you fully come into view wait to take photos. Your ranger guide has to first establish what is happening with the gorillas.
When you are finally allowed to take photos, stand at a distance of about 10 meters away so as to avoid direct contact with the gorillas.
After an hour in the presence of the gorillas, return to your lodge leaving nothing behind and taking nothing.
Day three Road Trip To Queen Elizabeth National park
Having seen the home of the mountain gorillas, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. If the bridge is intact, drive through Ishasha sector which is home to tree climbing lions. Here you may have the chance of seeing animal like lions, leopards, hyenas, herds of buffaloes, elephants, mangoose, and so much more.
Head to your lodge where you will spend your night.
Day Four Game Drive And Launch Cruise
An early morning game drives is an opportunity to see wild animals awake from there overnight spots to meet the day. Several of them walk to there day hangouts to begin searching for a meal.
Drive through the crater lakes region where you may have chance of seeing features like crater lakes, clearer view of Rwenzori ranges.
Drive towards the Katwe area where you may have the chance of seeing the hunting drama. Several antelopes feed from this area so most of the hunters observe from a fur to catch a meal.
After lunch break, move to Famous Kazinga Channel where animals congregate to cool off the day’s heat. Several birds flock the shore to pick a meal or others play from the water. Every minute there several birds that land while others leave the shore.
Several hippos and crocodiles are residents of this channel and they seem to look like logs embedded in the water.
Sail while enjoying the sun slowly close the day and later return shore to get back to your lodge.
Day Five Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge
Enjoy an early morning trek to find the chimpanzees that live on the slopes of Kyambura gorge. Hike to where the chimpanzees may have moved to but do not forget to carry your chimpanzee trekking gears.
Chimpanzees live in communities under the leadership of an alpha male. He is the supreme leader of the community but has to pay respect to those who selected him.
Several other primates are living with the chimpanzees like black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey and several others.
Return to the lodge and if not tired do a game drive.
Day Six Drive To Entebbe Airport
Having enjoyed the gorilla tracking safari and seen several wild animals in the wild, embark on your return flight.

Uganda is a tropical country do not forget to park some light wear.
Tracking boot will help you hike to see the mountain gorillas or chimpanzees as the ground may be quite slippery.
Wild friendly wear with colors that will make you feel comfortable as you move along the way.
Insect repellants will protect your skin from biting nettles.
Hand sanitizer and some masks will protect you against getting in contact with the Corona Virus
Camera with powerful batteries that will last at least a day while in the field. You can also carry a spare battery in case one runs down.
Poncho or rain gear will shield you from getting wet as it rains without warning.
