Where To Go For Chimpanzee Trekking Safari In Uganda
Kibale National Park
Chimpanzee trekking safari in Kibale National Park is the most sought after adventure in Uganda. Kibale forest hosts about 1500 chimpanzees of the population of 5000 chimpanzees that the entire Uganda has. Currently about 12 chimpanzee trekking communities are fully habituated and open to the public.
Kibale forest is a dense rain forest and home to about 13 primate species including pottos, red tailed monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, bush babies, black and white colobus, L’hoest and others. Beyond chimpanzee trekking safari, Kibale forest is a great Uganda birding destination with more than 325 bird species so far recorded.

Day 1 Drive to Kibale National Park
Depart for a voyage to Kibale National Park which is a rain forest one of the few natural forests existing in the world. Kibale National Park which is 795 square Kilometers hosts great fauna and fauna.

When you finally find the chimpanzees, only one hour is allowed with them as a conservation measure because they are habituated to be before humans for that hour. Day 3 Visit Mabere Ganyina Mwiru and Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Mabere Ganyina Mwiru stalactites and Stalagmites with the curtain of sparkling water fall. The hike to this gorge still has some challenges as you have to go through some thick vegetation and may get slippery on a rainy day.
Listen to the unique history of these rare features from a local guide and lash green vegetation that surrounds this area. Languages barrier may be experienced especially in case you have no interpreter but you have funs while at this spot. Continue with the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park and enjoy a game drive as you enter the park.
