As the world is recovering from the Corona Virus pandemic, tourists have been gives at least 40 % off the normal gorilla tracking permit in Uganda.
This is to encourage those who are interested in getting a holiday with the gorillas. This great news however is expected to last up to 31st March 2021. All those that had booked permits earlier may not benefit from this discount.

You are required to send the number of people you expect to travel with, number of days you expect to be on your gorilla tracking safari, type of safari of your preference Luxury, Mid-range or Budget plan.

As the policy for getting the permits is first come first served basis, no one reserves a gorilla permit for you unless it is paid for. This is because of the high demand for gorilla tracking permits yet just a few are released to the public to book. Only 8 gorilla permits are sold for tourist viewing per day per trek per gorilla tracking family.
When you finally confirm the days to take this African trip you are requested to fully pay for your gorilla permit once availability is confirmed. This is to avoid giving chance to losing the available gorilla permits as of the dates of your preference.
