Murchison falls
These are the most powerful falls in the world. The River Nile which is the second longest in the world vigorously finds its way through a narrow bend of about 7 meters wide. It produces a thundering sound and a cloudy appearance too.
On a sunny day, a rain bow may be formed. You have enough time to take photos from all angles of the falls. The back drop it creates in most photos is phenomenal.
When you move to the top of the falls, you can get another interesting photo point closer to the spot where water battles to find its way through the gorge.
Banks Of River Nile During Uganda Safari

Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park
The highlight of this point is the boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. This channel is placed on the western arm of the rift valley connecting Lake Edward to Lake Gorge.
Its banks are the congregation to varying birds that flock a shore to eat from the marshy grounds. They form a lovely back ground to those interested in having lots of birds in the background of their photos.
Lots of animals also find there way to the banks to cool of the day’s heat but the usual suspects are hippo pools, huge Nile crocodiles. The shore is always flocked by wild animals like Elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, hyenas, lions to mention but a few.
Crater Lakes in Queen Elizabeth National Park
A natural collection of crater lakes is placed on the floor of Queen Elizabeth National park. The most outstanding is the blue lake found closer to Maramagambo forest. The water has a clear blue color.
Salty Lake Katwe is another one decorated with piles of salt extracts. These have been piled by miners for centuries.
Mountain Rwenzori Ranges
Standing up high is the Rwenzori Mountain. On a clear day, you get to see the Ice peak of Margeritah. It forms a beautiful back drop for any photographer interested in Physical features.
The rivers that flow from the top of the mountain to the bottom are incredibly beautiful.
Primate Scenery
Mountain Gorillas
When you go to do gorilla tracking you have an hours in the presence of the mountain gorillas. You can take as many photos with the gorillas in the background.
Pause in different direction and if chanced, you may have a photo moment with the big silver back.
The mountain gorillas are residents of Bwindi Forest and Mgahinga National Park.
Chimpanzees
Chimpanzees are the closest neighbors to humans with about 98% human genes. You can also have a moment with the chimpanzees while on safari. They live in Kibale National Park.
Ngamba Island is home to the orphaned chimpanzees but you have the chance of participating in caregiving. This give toy the chance to take photos while standing very close to the chimpanzees.
