DAY 1 – Road trip to Bwindi Forest National Park
As early as advised by your driver guide, you embark on the journey to the gifted south western Uganda. On the way, you will bypass amazing forest cover in Mpanga, incredible swamp coverage where incase you are a keen birder you may a chance to see the shoe bill.

DAY 2 – Gorilla Habituation in Bwindi Forest
Gorilla habituation starts with briefing at the ranger station about what to do and avoid while searching for the gorillas. You need to have packed the right gear that will take you through out the trek.
Try to pack light and in a water proof light bag so that you do not get tired of carrying your baggage. Remember your packed lunch because the chances of returning before lunch break is minimal.
Follow the researchers and the ranger guide into the forest to start searching for the gorillas. On your way, you may have the chance of seeing other excited primates like the black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, to mention but a few.
The forest is rich with birds which linger like excited children in the forest. Follow the ranger and researchers participating in taking notes, assist then in getting some samples, follow the gorillas and learn more about there day activities. Remember these gorillas are not yet accustomed to human presence and you are just teaching them how to tolerate humans
After about three hours in the company of the huge apes return your room and relax. After a day grooming the wild mountain gorillas to get used to be in the company of humans without getting agitated or going into hiding as they are shy primates.
DAY 3 –Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After spending the previous day with the mountain gorillas, drive to Queen Elizabeth National park. This drive may take between 4 hours to 5 hours. Enjoy a game drive as you go into the pack where you may have the chance of see elephants, herds of buffaloes, water bucks, bush bucks, warthogs, mongoose to mention but a few.

DAY 4 – Game Drive and Launch cruise On Kazinga Channel Queen Elizabeth Park
Early in the morning, take something warm and dress in convertible trousers as the early mornings in Africa are normally cold but it gets hotter with time. Do not forget your cameras and head to the Northern part of the park
The crater lakes are is endowed with beautiful crater lakes both wet and dry but Lake Nyamunuka is most outstanding as this is like the animals hospital. Enjoy the elevated snowcapped rangers that are more pronounced on a clear day.
You may have the opportunity of location prides of lions, leopards, Hyenas, water bucks, cape buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, huge elephants, giant forest hogs, mongoose, Topis to mention but a few. A number of birds enjoy the park premises too including some foreign birds that fly from as far as Europe.
After lunch, get ready for a launch cruise on Kazinga channel. This is like the congregation spot for water birds like the shoe bill, chapin’s fly catcher, papyrus canary, corncrake, greater and lesser flamingos, African Skimmer, pink-backed pelican the list is endless.
Several while animals can also be seen enjoying a shower from the banks to cool off the day’s heat. Others like lions target the animals that come down to quench thirst. This is an amazing scenery for wildlife drama. Take pictures and return to the lodge to relax.
DAY 5 – Drive back to Entebbe
Having been in the jungle gorilla habituating and grooming, enjoyed the wildlife experience in the jungle, embark on your return home journey.
